Saudi Arabia and Qatar have signed an agreement to build a 785 km high speed electric railway linking Riyadh and Doha.
Designed to exceed 300 km/h, the speed rail link is due to cut travel time to about 2 hours, serve over 10 million passengers a year, and create more than 30,000 jobs.
It aims to boost regional connectivity, support trade, and increase tourism, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 goals.
